Le rev\u00eatement obtenu provient d'une r\u00e9action chimique o\u00f9 les pr\u00e9curseurs sont en phase vapeur. \nLe proc\u00e9d\u00e9 PACVD se d\u00e9roule \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures plus basses que le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 CVD, car c'est le plasma qui est utilis\u00e9 pour d\u00e9clencher une r\u00e9action thermique, plut\u00f4t que l'\u00e9nergie thermique. Dans ce proc\u00e9d\u00e9, tous les mat\u00e9riaux qui cr\u00e9ent le film sont en phase gazeuse, contrairement au proc\u00e9d\u00e9 CVD o\u00f9 au moins un des mat\u00e9riaux est en phase solide
